Multi award winning 5 star deluxe palace property owned & managed by luxury chain The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts. India’s first ESPA branded Spa opened in 2009. Provide leadership to the following divisions within the Spa and Leisure domains – Lake Spa (India's first and only luxury tented Spa on lake side), Haveli Spa (a traditional Rajasthani house), 6 Private Plunge Pools, Yoga Studio (Yoga & Meditation), Finishing Studio (Manicure and Pedicures), Gymnasium (Technogym), Recreational Activities and Thermal Experiences. Role is to manage and direct all technical, fitness and administrative staff for this luxury hotel spa. Responsible for training both technical and non technical staff, recruitment, and orientation. Upkeep and implementation of Operational supplies and equipment (OS&E) and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) of this elegantly designed Spa in coordination with Interiors, Engineering and Housekeeping Departments.
ESPA
The iconic 5 star deluxe resort owned and managed by The Leela Group. Provide leadership to the following divisions within the Spa department – Holistic treatments and rituals, Ayurveda treatments and rituals, Yoga and Gymnasium, Swimming Pools, Beach, Golf, recreational facilities and Kids Club.
Forest Essentials,
Provide senior leadership to 5 departments – Ayurveda, Wellness, Skin Clinic, Inclusive offerings and CIBTAC Training Academy – for a team of 75 staff (9 direct reports) comprising 2 Managers, 2 Assistant Managers, 5 Supervisors, 4 Receptionists, 55 therapists / practitioners / aestheticians and 7 support staff that work together in to deliver inclusive and supplementary treatments to average 200 plus guests per day. The annual spa budget is US$2.2 million. Lead the pre-opening efforts for an ambitious project of opening the most authentic Ayurvedic Temple outside of India. In parallel provide effectively leadership to 8 very well experienced wellness practitioners from various global locations at the wellness centre.
Lead daily operations and strategic direction of the facility with full responsibility of colleague satisfaction, guest satisfaction, financial success, health and safety, environmental stewardship and that Spa is recognized as one of the finest resort spas in the world. Act as a spokesperson for the Spa and the Brand while work with corporate advertising, promotion and public relations as required. Manage, motivate and appraise all personnel reporting to this position. Establish professional business relationship with all vendors.
Elemis, La Therapie, Kama, Essie, Thalgo, Oakworks
Consult during pre-opening stage with an aim to set up the Wellness Centre while working closely with Interior Designer and suppliers. Manage day-to-day operations at the centre that included six service lines - Detox Day Spa, Yoga Studio, Gym, Aerobics, Swimming Pool and Tennis. Conduct health assessment, lifestyle and nutritional counseling.
Key Achievements
Designed the spa menu for Detox Day Spa and trained the therapists in Western, Oriental and Ayurvedic therapies.
Kama
Short term assignment to plan, customize and deliver sports specific scientific Yoga sessions such as Pranayama, Trataka, Dhyana, Yoga Nidra for Olympic and Asian Games grade sportsmen in six disciplines – Archery, Boxing, Weight Lifting, Wrestling, Athletics (middle and long distance runners) and Throwers on a regular basis.
Key Achievements
Motivated top-level sportsmen to attend Yoga sessions regularly while relating and responding to them well.
Consult a Day Spa that offered Ayurvedic treatments, Naturopathy therapies and Yoga teaching to local patrons. Provide dietary advice, lifestyle recommendations and prescribe Ayurvedic and natural therapies to visitors.

Conducted health and wellness workshops for general public, corporate houses and management institutes that were well appreciated.
Arya Vaidyashala
Conduct regular on-site evening Yoga classes for employees of the company. Deliver lectures on health and preventative measures.
Key Achievements
Periodically conducted special techniques of Yoga such as Kriyas, Vibhaga Pranayama and Cyclic Meditation to break monotony and cater the various wellness needs of employees.
Conduct research work in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences. Provide detailed consultancy as per Naturopathy principles to patients at renowned O.P. Clinic. Guide BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) Interns pursuing ‘National BNYS Internship Programme’ regarding clinical skills and dissertation work. Coordinate training, teaching and examination of candidates pursuing TATC (Treatment Attendant Training Course).
