To be able to see things that look fantastic and great for people before they do – that’s a great skill! Every hairstyle or cut is personal to the individual and that’s what makes people feel great. Not many other professions have that ability.
I’m still passionate about the industry today as I was when I first started – and the people I meet and work with every day give me the strength and inspiration to always do more.

I am privileged and delighted to be heading up the Hair Salon at Smith Gate Spa in Nottingham; which will be launching this Autumn 2015.
This luxury urban day Spa will provide hair, beauty, massage and sunlight therapy in the very centre of Nottingham’s prime fashion and retail street (above Hobbs). The premium urban day spa & salon is spread over four floors covering 4,500 sq.ft and includes the latest in Hair, Beauty and Spa treatments as well as the latest Sunlight Therapy treatments with beautiful Relaxation and Manicure / Pedicure areas. Guests can choose to visit the hair salon or journey upstairs to experience “The Art of Relaxation”.
I have relocated from London to head up and manage this luxurious Hair Salon & Retail Boutique on the first floor of this fabulous building. The salon will be one of the largest and most stylish in Nottingham and all guests will be made to feel as if they are the ‘celebrity’ for their time with us.

My prime duties and responsibilities as Creative and Educational Director at Regis UK were being responsible for more than 130 hair salons and working with hundreds of employees in the UK; teaching, encouraging and bringing out the best in creativity and flare. I also worked on branding and imagery for the salon windows as well as leading and managing promotions for London Fashion Week along side Wella, L’Oreal and Fudge hair products.

My native country experience as an International Educator for TIGI Haircare products at Salerno School was most enjoyable, educating and demonstrating to people who buy TIGI products and enabling brand awareness.
TIGI work with hairdressers across the Globe ensuring the latest styles and products are in salons - for the use of the professional hairdresser and their clients. But working with TIGI was not just about products, it was about educating, sharing ideas and inspiration. My stay in Jakarta, Indonesia working and developing courses within the Marta Tilaar Group of Schools across the country was an amazing cultural experience to say the least.
Martha Tilaar Group are one of leading beauty companies in Indonesia, founded by Dr. (H.C) Martha Tilaar in 1970. Employing over 4,000 employees, their company divided into three business classifications, manufacturing and Marketing, Distribution, and Service. Their teams create innovation and best quality in beauty product based on herbal and natural ingredients of Indonesia and have supporting services like spa, hair and beauty salon, beauty shop, advertising agency, beauty school, and wedding and indonesian culture magazine.
My main duties included on developing intense hair salon training courses within the Martha Tilaar schools and working closing with their creative fashion and make up units. I was also very involved with their extensive hair and fashion photo shoots.

Keune is the largest Dutch producer of hair care products for the beauty industry in private hands. Founded in 1922 by Jan Keune - one of the founders of the perm - Keune has developed into a multinational, specialized in high quality professional hair care products for the beauty industry.
This was when I first joined Keune to head up the creation of schools in Italy; the main school was established with a photographic studio in Rome, where I was conducting hairdressing courses in several schools and managing photographic photo-shoots from the studios.
I also oversaw and was involved in the largest hair trade show in the world in Bolagna Italy and conducted many seminars all around Italy.
