Curriculum VitaeFemaleD.O.B. 16 March 1989Number of years working in industry: 19 years 5 months |
I am very much a people person and have built up good relationships with clients and colleagues everywhere I have been, I love that aspect of my job. I am also keen to learn and enjoy facing new challenges as well as exploring different working environments. I would now like to look at progressing my career. I have been fortunate in my career so far to work in varying and busy environments and this has enabled me to experience a wealth of different people and gain knowledge of the industry.
Seeking work in West Midlands, UK
I am currently responsible for carrying out a high standard of Elemis and Jessica treatments, retailing the products and working in the hydro therapy suite and sauna suite.
I have undergone office training and am now able to use the Premier and Welcome Spa system. This has enabled me to work alongside my managers to make bookings and payments for spa day guests and liaise with the hotel and restaurant arranging spa stays. As we are a very busy business having this work experience has improved my customer service and organisational skills. It has given me experience in having to schedule not only the client’s days but also the other therapists.
I have also been given the chance to train some of the other girls in various Elemis treatments as well as Hopi ear candles. This has given me the opportunity to discover how much I enjoy teaching and training others. Working here has given me the chance to progress skills away from solely doing treatments and my managers have asked me to be the team leader on a promotion for the Spa in Walsall and have also asked me to work two days a week in the management office.
In my current role I deliever a high standard of Elemis and Jessica treatments. Including Mother to be Massage and Hot Stone Massage. I have now been carrying out Elemis treatments for 3 years.
After completing my temporary contract that I did on my return to the UK after working abroad I decided to live in Devon and went to work in a Decleor Aroma Gold salon. Due to family circumstances I had to leave and return home. However during my time here I was very busy and had already built up a regular client base. I under went additional training and am now able to give Ionithermie treatments which I really enjoyed learning as well as having reps come in from Tisserand, Menukah Honey and Jane Iredele to speak to us about their brands which were also sold at the salon. I also covered the managers day off which meant one day a week I worked front of house and concentrated on customer service, bookings and sales as well as speaking to distributors.
I used Decleor Products when working at Fab. I was also carrying out Ionathermie treatments while wokring there.
Career Break - TravelingI returned from Corsica in October having done a season as a beauty therapist for Mark Warner where I worked along side one other therapist. Between us we made a huge increase on customer feed back in comparison to previous years. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience on a professional and personal level. After working in Corsica I went out to Meribel in the French Alps until February, while I was there I was doing casual massage work.
I used Elemis when working in corsica. I also used OPI products.
I performed massage back stage at Download festival, V festival, O2 Wireless festival and Hyde Park Calling as part of the Active Foundation. From my experience with the Active Foundation I received individual work and was asked to Oxford and to Derby to perform massage on a high profile client who requested my presence on both occasions.
I was a sales consultant in House of Fraser so rather than being treatment focused my job was sales driven giving me a chance to develop my skills for meeting targets and also gave me the opportunity to do weekly and monthly sales figures. As well as doing this I did stock takes and promotions which I really enjoyed and found that the changes kept me on my toes.
Decleor products.
Working at Ragdale Hall I carried out a range of treatments and gained a lot of experience very quickly due to how busy it was. I bonded well with my colleagues there and always got on very well with my clients. I received numerous good comments from clients and had excellent feed back form my supervisors who carried out assessments and spot checks on me.
Whilst working at Ragdale I was in hose trained in Clarins, Elemis and Decleor. I had full training in Leighton Deny products.
