An enthusiastic and hard-working individual who enjoys working as part of a team in order to achieve both group and individual goals. I display a flexible approach to all tasks set before me and have a “can do” attitude when taking on new goals. I am an effective motivator and believe this is reflected in my work.
Ideally I would like to pursue my career in the teaching/training industry or managing a 5* spa. In the mean time I am working towards gaining as much practical experience and theoretical knowledge as possible and look to complete several courses of personal interest to me which will go towards my continuing professional development.
Seeking to work in the UK and International Locations
My responsibilities involve greeting clients when they arrive into the salon and making them feel welcome. I perform a wide variety of treatments including massage (aromatherapy, swedish, Indian head), facials (oxygen, glycolic peels, anti-ageing), waxing (hot and strip), tinting, nails (gel overlay, polish) and LVL lashes. Providing after care and retailing products to my clients is also very important. I have worked with a variety of brands allowing me to have a wider understanding and background knowledge of products.
As well as performing treatments to a five star standard, I am also involved in duties such as taking bookings over the phone/email, taking payments and stock taking. I am also involved in coming up with new ideas and promotional offers in order to market the salon and encourage new clientelle.

My duties involved greeting spa guests and sometimes touring them around the spa and its facilities. Using the Decleor products I provided a range of massage and facial treatments. Manicures, pedicures, waxing and tinting were also treatments I provided. As therapists we had monthly retail targets to meet.
Taking guest bookings and payments was also involved.

I have a passion for keeping fit and healthy. I regularly go to my local gym and take part in group classes in order to stay active. Not only are the classes a great way to release any tension after a busy day at work, they are also extremely sociable.
