I am dedicated to have a sucessful career that I am passionate and proud of. It brings me so much satisfaction to make another person feel great whilst in my care and presence. I am very ambitious and enjoy traveling, experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. Overall I am a friendly, professional and hard working individual with a positive attitude.
Seeking work in national and international locations.
Summer season in Ibiza providing an amazing 10 minute Indian head massage in premium venues; Ocean Beach Club, Mambo’s sunset strip and Bambuddha Grove restaurant. It involved walking around confidently in a professional and friendly manner promoting the service. Immaculate presentation and team work was also important at all times.
6 day’s a week I also provided full or half body massages to guests staying at the THB Ocean Beach Hotel. I was independently working, booking in my own clients. I received great feedback from my massages, with guests saying thats the best massage they’ve had. Because they thoroughly enjoyed my service they would return for another treatment later in their holiday or even recommend a family member or friend to get one.
My biggest learning experience completing two 9 month contracts with The Onboard Spa by Steiner. I worked on 3 cruise ships and 2 different cruise lines, sailing around America and the Caribbean. I grew as a therapist as well as an individual from living and working with people from all over the world.
I worked very hard on board - 7 days a week and up to 12 hours per day. On a commission only salary I had to be self motivated and dedicated to earning money.
It was important to connect with my clients as it would allow me to give them an amazing experience they won’t forget. I performed many luxurious treatments to a high standard from facials to massages. Following every treatment we would then discuss aftercare and home care advice so that my client can receive the full benefits and maintain what we have achieved.
The team work within the spa was essential to make sure we hit targets set by head office. I also used to work behind the reception desk helping to book in treatments by answering the phone and dealing with any enquiries. Another job that I used to do twice a week during a 7 day cruise was to do an hour seminar in front of 50+ women. This was an informative, fun and interactive seminar on skin and body care. I thoroughly enjoyed doing this and it improved my confidence in public speaking and interaction.
