Duties included:

• Practising Acupuncture in a fast paced beauty environment providing excellent service and care.
• Managing the Spa with bookings and stock taking weekly meetings with staff and delegating tasks.
• Ensure efficient supply and safe storage of complementary therapy resources eg: acupuncture needles and essential oils and ensure maintenance of any equipment associated with complementary therapies
• Be committed to delivering high quality, holistic care within the context of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and liaising effectively with other members of the MDT
• Work effectively as part of the complementary therapy team and attend regular peer support complementary therapy team meetings
• Be responsive to the needs of service users by identifying need and be willing to cross refer to other members of the MDT if they can meet the need more effectively
• Keep up to date with developments in palliative care and complementary therapy and share learning and ideas with other members of the team
