Duties included:
After training at the London Steiner Academy, I was placed on ‘Celebrity Reflection’ cruise liner as one of three hair stylists servicing 3,500 guests! During my time, both at the academy and on the ship, I was trained in Keratin Complex treatments, gents barbering (including shaving), ‘Go Smile’ teeth whitening, mini facials and neck, back and shoulder massage. My responsibilities whilst on the ship included stage presentations and guided tours around the spa, educating the guests about the treatments available and promoting our services. I became trained in Elemis products which gave me the knowledge to upsell treatments and cross promote.

Duties included:
During my training at Dennis Michael I was quickly promoted to ‘Head Junior’ and my responsibilities included delegating work and monitoring breaks. Through my 8 years within this company, I have been promoted various times and I currently hold the position of ‘Creative Director’. On a day-to-day basis, I am involved in overseeing the technical side of this 5 star salon and offer help and support to the less experienced stylists. I am also in charge of the art team, whereby we invite clients to our salon to practice new techniques and latest trends in colour and styling. I was also chosen to be the stylist for a more recent photo-shoot, the result of which was used for the company’s advertisement around the salon and in our local paper.
Throughout my time at Dennis Michael I have taken part in three ‘colour theory’ evenings in London, whereby we were introduced to the most recent colours, hairstyles and products. Every three months in the salon we have a theory/practical session with a ‘Wella’ rep. During these sessions we are introduced to the new season trends, gain product knowledge and are advised on different cutting techniques and how to recommend the right product to your client.
I pride myself in offering a professional service and I am actively involved in training the juniors to achieve the same standard of work - working efficiently in neat and tidy sections and keeping a friendly but professional conversation going with the client at all times.

Hobbies and Interests
I consider myself to be a creative and ambitious person who is very hardworking and enjoys a challenge. I am fun, adventurous and outgoing (I took part in a tandem skydive for my 18th birthday) and I enjoy socialising with family and friends. I also enjoy cooking and art!
