My passion is the beauty industry. I don't see my job as work, I see it as a hobby!
I feel my best quality is communication. I am very good and perfected my services over the years but selling is what I also love! I love to make clients feel they can ask me questions whether it's about their skin type and what could really help them or just little tips on preventing ingrown hairs.
I pride myself on repeat clientele and over the 15 years being in the industry and can confidently say I have got there... and still growing!
Seeking work in international locations
I'm one of two senior beauty therapists at the salon. Not only do I provide all services such as; waxing (full body- hard, soft wax and sugar paste), threading, lash lifting, brow lamination, mani/pedis (gelish/OPI light cured nail polish), facials including microdermabrasion & dermaplaning, PCA chemical peels, eye treatments excluding lash extensions. I also assist with spa ordering, inventory, daily opening and closing, deposits and cash ups. This role also means looking after the other 5 staff members we have working with me. Letting them know their day to day duties.
Just to add I am fully trained in eyelash extensions, however, our salon does not offer these on the menu, but I do offer them from my home base business.
OPI, CND, Akzents, Farm House Fresh Skincare, PCA Skincare
I owned and operated my own small independant beauty business within Lethbridge,AB called The Beauty Room.
I carried out all treatments, reception duties, cleaning and sterilzation duties. I dealt with the marketing, inventory and book keeping and customer relations. I usually worked 6 days a week.
I partnerd with Guinot skincare so I could carry out a wide variety of facials many people hadnt even heard of and retail their amazing skin care line. I chose Guinot because it felt like home to me, I was already familiar with it just from being from England and having worked with Decleor when I first started in the industry at 18 years old.
I ended my business in December of 2018 to join Fuzzy Peach. At the time it seemed like a better fit and I really missed the team environement and having collegues to lean on.

Within Merle Norman my boss sets monthly goals. I am the highest selling and providing services girl that works within the store. Peak season I bring her between $12 - $13,000 and slower periods between $8-$10,000 per month. Something I am extremely proud of!

I attended training days with my regional manager, Michelle Cochrane, who would go through product knowledge and the specfic facial steps for each facial. We would talk through product ingredients and specifically the key ingredients. Retail techniques were also given in every training conference. Guinot in Canada is part of Sopar distribution. |

During my free time I like to attend spin cycle and pilates classes aswell as weights at the gym. I also enjoy reading and watching films. I have a little Pomchi and enjoy taking her out on walks. I love browsing on the internet and keeping up to date with oncoming trends in the fashion world aswell as the next up and coming beauty treatments, techniques and products. Travelling and exploring different countries and cultures is huge for me, it's the most enjoyable luxury for me to be able to do.
