With over 15 years of experience within spa management operations, hospitality services, and revenue management, and 8 years working in the cruise ships industry, I’m a committed, confident, high-energy professional who is extremely enthusiastic about making things happen. Seeking to work in Brazil, Italy, International Locations and Cruise Ships
Analyzing the overall onboard revenue, generating activities to develop or adjust strategies and tactics to increase guest participation. Developing marketing promotional plans for increasing profitability of the revenue areas. Working directly with the Cruise Director to identify the optimal scheduling opportunities and locations for revenue generation and ensure that all onboard activities and events are geared towards generating revenue and optimizing guest satisfaction. Meeting weekly with the onboard management team (Cruise Sales Manager, F&B, Spa, Gift Shop, Photo, Shorex, ICafe, Casino, and Bingo) to discuss revenue strategies for exceeding revenue forecasts, performance, and coordinate cross-marketing efforts. Presenting analysis and marketing promotion plans for discussion, approval, and implementation with shipboard and shore side team. Ensuring consistent brand standard image for guest-contact promotional materials and events, such as Daily Program, announcements, television/electronic media, and point-ofpurchase displays. Works with all levels of shipboard employees and management in a positive and productive manner. Communicating directly with partners shore side onboard/ hotel management when necessary on issues relating to any respective revenue area onboard. Conducting regular appraisals for Casino, Photo, Spa, Internet, Shorex, and Cruise Sales Manager. Negotiations and resolving grievances and conflicts.
One of my main responsibilities is staff selection, recruitment and training to company standards. I have provided training to all staff ensuring that their knowledge of policies and procedures is up to the requirements of each company
as well as providing necessary coaching.
My qualification as Manager allows me to ensure that each member of staff is trained with regards to the highest quality of customer service. In addition I always assure that each team member is up to date with company procedures, policies
and audits (MLC 2006, Best 4, RAAS).
Another duty as a manager is my administrative role. I am in charge of compliance with working hours, daily, weekly and monthly reports, financial accounting and reporting, staff appraisal, support for staff career development, dealing
with grievances and conflicts.
In addition I am a revenue oriented person as well keeping always in mind the financial situation and putting in consideration while taking decisions.
