Personal Statement

I am a dedicated therapist and bridal make up artist who constantly strives to achieve the very highest level of work. I am well spoken with excellent inter-personal skills. I am also a naturally happy and positive person with a desire to assist others in finding these attributes within themselves. I work well as part of a team and also individually. I am pro-active, thinking ahead of the game. I work very well under pressure and am not easily phased by challenging situations. I am passionate about my profession and give it everything I have.

My present goal is to secure a Training or Therapist role within a Spa/salon environment using the skills I have learnt, and fine turned, during my studies and whilst working within the Day Spa and within my own beauty businesses. I would very much like to continue building upon my qualifications and learn new treatments as I strongly believe that a good Therapist/Make up artist should carry on enhancing and up grading their skills throughout their career.

September 2012 - Present - Salon owner/Ooerator Bridal Makeup Specialist at (most recent employer hidden for confidentiality) Saint-Gaudent , France, (High Street Salon)

Duties included:

I am the owner of Vata Beauty where I offer high end treatments in a tranquil and luxury setting. I manage all aspects of the business, being self employed. I am also an authorised retailer in France for Deciem/The Ordinary skincare

In addition I offer bridal make up services at luxury venues across France, UK and Europe. I provide make up services on at least two photoshoots each year some of which have been published on top wedding blogs across the globe. I have also featured in Tatler and Brides Magazines (UK) during 2015 and 2016.

For both businesses I manage all the publicity, marketing, stock supply, accounting, budget management and personal training.
